BECOME AN ADVOCATE
When you volunteer for CASA, give hope to a child who has been the victim of abuse or neglect. As a volunteer, you can lend your voice to advocate for the child's best interests and wishes.
Qualifications
A CASA Volunteer must:

Be 21 years of age or older.

Successfully pass application, screening and background requirements.

Complete pre-service training provided by CASA of Crawford County.

Complete 12 hours of continuing education annually related to the work of best interest advocacy.

Be able to make a 12-15 month commitment to a case. (An average of 10-15 hours per month)

Be able to keep information confidential and work within established program guidelines.

Have access to a vehicle.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER ADVOCATE
Our one-hour, no obligation info sessions can help you learn more about CASA to decide if it is the right volunteer opportunity for you.
Info sessions are offered at least once a month via Zoom. Led by our team at CASA of Crawford County. These sessions offer the perfect way to learn more about CASA, the advocate volunteer role and the difference that CASA volunteers make in the lives of abused and neglected children and youth.
Sessions are offered twice a month, generally alternating between first Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and third Mondays at Noon.
